What a week!
I just got home after a week on the road in Vegas and Wisconsin, and it couldn’t have gone better.
Vegas included attending the James Randi Educational Foundation’s “Amazing Meeting” which is a scientific conference dedicated to critical thinking and scientific literacy.
There were many childhood heros in attendance (Bill Nye told me I had a nice tie!), and after attending the conference for 10 years most of them actually know me by name.
This is a testament to perseverance. Success is not a short-term approach. You have to be willing to stick with your passion for success before it starts paying off.
Because of my dedication, I was presented with several opportunities that blow my mind. If they come through, it will be a dream come true, and I’ll certainly let you know about them.
If they fall through, you’ll never hear about it until I write my memoirs…
For now, I’m glad to be back in my own bed, and start the process of following up with all the friends (old and new) who I got to see.
I feel so motivated!
This is a story of success and not-quite-so-much-success.
I’m currently in Denver stopped at a Starbucks in the middle of the drive from Chicago to Vegas. For the first time, I decided to try something new; bring my own food with me on the road.
It was my sweetie’s idea, and it’s fantastic.
